eBay is a community of members who can buy/sell items locally, nationally and internationally. And while eBay has over 100 million members' issues between buyers and sellers is unusual. Considering eBay recently said they had made more than $14 in sales, issues between buyers and sellers are rare. That's the main reason utilising eBay is such a great way to start your home based business. Some time back someone did a survey which was on auctions online which I thought was pretty interesting. almost half of the participants said they bid on auctions online looking for deals, 23% said they are looking for hard-to-find items and rest of the people who took the survey said they were looking for collectable products. When it came to how confident buyers are at receiving their purchases, 50% of them were confident and slightly less than half were very confident they would have no problems receiving their product. Only one percent of them were not confident. 51% of those surveyed said they always, check feedback before buying from a seller and another thirty plus percent said that they usually do. Only a merge three percent said they didn't check. I have to believe that this three percent make up the newcomers. A whopping 83% of participants said they had bid and purchased products. With half of those who took the survey saying the average price of the product purchased was fifty dollars. 24% said that the value was within 50 - 100 dollars and twenty percent said between a hundred and five hundred dollars. Two thirds of the surveyors said they paid by personal check, cashier check or money order to the seller. While 44% paid by credit card using third party payment services listed on the auction and 59% said they'd never experienced any mishaps purchasing their items. Auction sites such as eBay have expanded a great deal over the years. And it's very easy to see why. From the buyers viewpoint when you look at eBay it features just about anything you'd want. From computer games to clothing, from houses to the strangest and weirdest, it's listed for auction on eBay. From the seller's perspective if you have something worthy of being sold, you are bound to find a buyer for it at eBay. I believe much of this can be attributed to the eBay feedback. The feedback procedure entails sellers and buyers leaving comments on their experience with each other. Whether it is a good or a bad transaction, you can read about it in the feedback section. I won't force you to believe problems are non-existent, because that would be untrue. But all in all things run very smoothly.
